The following is just a quick overview one of the projects I'm currently working on; OpenRFS.

Open Remote File System (OpenRFS)

An end-to-end project for an external customer. They wanted a solution that:

  1. Can be attached to their network and run locally

  2. Ability to securely share & store files in a central location

  3. Work across different OS

I did some research and the products I knew about or found was either hidden behind a pay wall or required a user login that was attached to my profile. So, I decided to build a solution instead. OpenRFS is the result.

Below are some screenshot of the Web UI, as well as the hardware I’ll be deploying the finished application to. The idea will be that the customer can drop this on their network and with minimal setup be up and running.

This project is almost completed I’ll be finishing everything up within the next two to three weeks and handing it off. This project is costing the customer nothing, as I wanted to do this more for the experience of doing it.
